The aXBench describes system architectures using the  architecture description language “aXLang”, developed by Fraunhofer ISST. The models, concepts, and the language originate from the research projects MOSES and VEIA, and show proof of the concepts of these projects. One system is modeled using:

  • feature models
  • application models
  • resource models
  • mapping models
  • and more…

For more details please refer to Concept.

The aXBench is an eclipse plugin. It provides extension points for model import and export, model conversion, and model evaluation. The API is open for external plugins that extend the modeling power of the aXBench. For more information, please refer to Concept.
